This wonderful family included six kids, so the emphasis was on function and durability first. Although the design is handsome and cohesive the materials included quartz, outdoor fabrics, medium dark floors, and vinyl on the six-sided ottoman! The primary bathroom was long and not very wide, which gave me the opportunity to create a calacatta marble chevron “runway” on the floor and continuing up the wall.

The award-winning kitchen was named “Best Traditional Kitchen” in Westchester Home Magazine. Because of the large amount of kitchen cabinetry, I chose to break up the white cabinets with select doors that were stained dark. The backsplash is a hexagon marble design – with six sides.
